Welcome to National Seminar!

The College is organizing a one-day National Seminar on Implications of Globalisation of Technology and Technological Change on March 06, 2006. The main objective of the seminar is to discuss the issues in a dispassionate manner and identify the critical themes that should be the focus of research, teaching and policy in the present millennium. Papers are invited on the following sub-themes:

  • Define the globalisation of technology with the use of a new categorization;

  • Report some evidence on the degree of India’s participation in the globalisation of technology;

  • Discuss the relevance and impact of the globalisation of technology on India, and its implication for the development strategies and policies; and

  • Examine the role of technology for societal transformation to empower nation.

All interested are cordially invited to participate and present papers in the prescribed format. Papers should be typed in single column with proper margin. (For details, see Chicago Mannual Style).
